Jacqueline Anne Julio, O.D., F.A.A.O. is a board certified comprehensive optometrist with a clinical focus on ocular disease, low vision, and pediatric optometry. She also performs eye examinations for individuals with developmental disabilities and children.
Dr. Julio attended Georgetown University where she received a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Mathematics and Studio Art. Dr. Julio received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry and completed her residency in Ocular Disease at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in North Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Julio is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Julio is board-certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases and glaucoma. She is the Clinical Director of Nevada for the Special Olympics Lion's International Opening Eyes Program. Dr. Julio is a member of the Nevada Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and the American Optometric Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, kickboxing, and spending quality time with her family and fur-children. She has intermediate fluency in Spanish. Dr. Julio joined Sahara Eye Center in January 2021.
